From here:
India has put in place a $5.4 billion policy to provide free medicine to its people, a decision that could change the lives of hundreds of millions, but a ban on branded drugs stands to cut Big Pharma out of the windfall.
And they dicked over Big Pharma?
That sounds like a solid outfit they’re running over there in India. World’s biggest democracy, by the way.
Of course, we would never do that here because first off we don’t have poor people, and second we’re all rugged individualists and any free medicine for Americans would kill our entrepneurial spirit and rugged individualism.
