There are some brands of corn chips where the bag is full to the top. These are honest chipmakers and I applaud them for it. However, when you look at the honest bags of chips on the shelf they look like they have fewer chips in them.
However, there are many chip makers that make these huge bags and there’s a window in the middle of the bag and you see chips in it, but when you pick up the bag you discover that the whole top half of the bag is air.
Some of these big half bags of chips contain fewer chips than the smaller looking bags.
This is dishonest chip selling. It’s corn chip hype.
What is behind the idea of the big bag of air?
Are there millions and millions of people out there that enjoy the deception of a big bag half full of chips?
I guess the whole point is to rip off people who aren’t paying enough attention. They think they’re getting a lot of chips and they’re really getting fewer chips and more air.
And that’s happening at the macro level.
