My dad brought the album back from New York back in the ’60s and I must’ve listened to it 100 times. The first time I went to Manhattan on business (late-’80s) my first meal was at the Stage Deli … it was like entering the gates of heaven. Great memories … not to mention the greatest chopped liver and pastrami on rye sandwich I ever had to date.
hey david, glad you got to hear this record again, that’s the whole point of my archive. i’m not a liver guy but do love a great nyc bagel and it’s gotten much harder to get a reasonably sized one with the appropriate flavor. oy, what a shonda.
This is the comedy equivalent of finding The Hope Diamond sitting on your computer!
I’m glad you found it and have a great holiday season whichever way you roll. Mazeltov.
