From CBS News here:
Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan said Sunday he believes players and coaches should stand for the anthem to show respect and give thanks to members of the armed forces.
“You’ve got to look at the gifts that we have, the opportunity that we have to play a great game is through the men and women that serve our country,” Ryan said before practice on Sunday. “And I think that’s an opportunity right there just to show respect.”
- Does our military fight just so Americans can play and watch football? I must have missed that memo. It’s also ironic that Ryan calls football a great game when current estimates is that football leaves 30% of those who play it in the pro leagues physically and mentally damaged.
- Why do Americans never consider the idea that the American military can make a situation worse? Did the U.S. military improve anything in Iraq? Nope.
- Did Coach Fucknut acually listen to what Kaepernick said? The whole point as I understood it is that he feels that black Americans do not have great opportunity or even physical safety in their lives. No gifts asshole, unless you call stop and frisk a gift from the police.
- Mindless America boosting with no thought behind it is sending our country down the toilet.
