…Hillary is deeply embedded in the American power structure, deeply loyal to it and there may not be specific transactions you can tie to these relationships but I think you can almost think of it as almost an anthropological sense. They exist in a very tight circle. They exchange favors. They exchange greetings.
People are psyched to make American history by electing a woman that they aren’t looking at the woman they’re electing. The same with Obama, people made all sorts of assumptions about what sort of President Obama was going to be, and those assumptions weren’t based on reality they were expectations based on him being a black community organizer from Chicago.
And this is why I’m starting to hate identity politics.
