From NBC News here:
Per the Washington Post, “When top Bill Clinton aide Douglas Band wrote the memo, he was a central player at the Clinton Foundation and president of his own corporate consulting firm. Over the course of 13 pages, he made a case that his multiple roles had served the interests of the Clinton family and its charity. In doing so, Band also detailed a circle of enrichment in which he raised money for the Clinton Foundation from top-tier corporations such as Dow Chemical and Coca-Cola that were clients of his firm, Teneo, while pressing many of those same donors to provide personal income to the former president.”
People who I think are very smart have denounced the Wikileaks Clinton email dump and that by doing so they have permanently damaged their credibility.
It is never discussed and de facto considered a wise move to incarcerate Assange in a building in London but it looks like that it’s now having some very tangible repercussions for Clinton (and Obama).
I don’t think (in this case) Assange gives two shits about transparency, he wants the people who put him there to pay.
How would you respond to being trapped in a building for 5 years? Do you think that being imprisoned in a building in London has effected his mental and physical health? I bet it has.
