From Zero hedge here:
In one of the most euphoric praises for Donald Trump and the president-elect’s fledgling administration to date, overnight Bridgewater founder Ray Dalio said economic changes under the Trump administration may be more dramatic than shifts from “the socialists to the capitalists” in the U.K., U.S. and Germany from 1979 to 1982, and predicted that “we are about to experience a profound, president-led ideological shift that will have a big impact on both the US and the world.”
In his summary of Trump’s economic policies, Dalio urges readers to read Ayn Rand “as her books pretty well capture the mindset. This new administration hates weak, unproductive, socialist people and policies, and it admires strong, can-do, profit makers. It wants to, and probably will, shift the environment from one that makes profit makers villains with limited power to one that makes them heroes with significant power.”
This gent Ray Dalio operates one of the largest hedge funds in the world. He’s really piling on the bullshit in this newsletter and as far as I’m concerned he can fuck himself.
He goes on to question whether Trump will be aggressive and thoughtful or whether he will be aggressive and reckless.
For a smart hedge fund guy this question appears to be one posed by a village idiot. Where has there been a single shred of thoughtfulness in Trump’s cabinet picks? He has amassed a world class collection of assholes, true fucking pieces of shit often without the barest skills to do the job they’ve been chosen for.
Even worse many of the picks (especially this EPA fuck from Oklahoma) appear to be spiteful and designed to be to the worst pick possible.
If our society degenerates into a complete whirlwind of chaos and strongman bullshit we can look to these fine gentlemen and ladies who lead our robust and corrupt business sector as flushing our civilization down the fucking toilet.
