Republicans adopt pissing in the wind as strategy

Blurb from Washington Post:

The swearing-in of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch will mark a big win for President Trump and conservatives — both on and off Capitol Hill — who have struggled desperately to produce significant victories despite pledges of sweeping change in Washington that one-party rule would bring. Trump allies hope that the Gorsuch win will serve as a springboard for other triumphs.

Boy, I don’t know how changing the rules in the Senate to get that arrogant prick on the Supreme court is going to somehow magically turn President Cheese Doodle into some sort of reasonable person.

Or how that event suddenly papers over the huge divisions between the hardcore, super right wingnutz and the everyday run-of-the mill Republican scumbags.

But I guess you’re going to piss in the wind if that’s all you have.
