Officials at Travis Air Force Base in California have advised people there to “shelter in place” during a “real world security incident,” according to official social media posts issued on Wednesday afternoon.
From CNBC here:
Facebook says some groups tried to use its platform to sway the outcome of the U.S. presidential election.
In a case study of the 2016 presidential election, the company said it found several instances of “information operations,” its term for governments and organizations who attempt to sway political opinion by spreading fake news and other nefarious tactics.
More proof that Facebook is not a platform where people get connected to make everybody feel better about the world and reach some pie in the sky understanding about people who are different from you.
Facebook is a toilet where people live stream murders and run propaganda operations, shitting fake news all over confused people who are too lazy to verify the info they’re munching on.
I think this completely justifies Mark Zuckerberg’s 5th largest in the world fortune — he has really taken us to a special place!!!
From CNBC here:
“Despite a relatively soft start to the year, we are optimistic that deal activity will recover and return to prior year levels,” the PwC report said. “Defense spending increases and geopolitical factors will certainly play a part in the prevalence and magnitude of dealmaking through the rest of 2017.”
These guys will be back, you can’t keep a good warmonger down!
Even if they have to gin up a war to get some equipment smashed up it will be worth the dead humans to restore profits to a health point.
Headline from Reuters:
Trump says North Korea ‘behaving very badly,’ China has done little to help
Like North Korea is some pissed off teenager and he’s gonna bring the pain. Unfortunately this pissed off teenager has nuclear weapons.
BTW a big war with North Korea will make America great again for sure!
Forty-seven percent of Americans said the nation needs stronger gun laws in the latest CBS News poll — a 10-point drop since December, when support was at 57 percent.
But support is still higher than it was in April 2012, before mass shootings in Aurora, Colo., and in Newtown, where the murders occurred on Dec. 14. Then, only 39 percent wanted stricter gun laws.
Sorry everybody, but our ruling class has decided that not enough people have been gunned down in movie theaters and at schools to justify upsetting the highly organized gun lobby.
So whose kids are going to get mindlessly blown away?
